1. When did you join the team and how did you find out about the role?
I joined in September 2025. Guy Maxwell introduced me to the role - he’s known Jeremy for a number of years and thought I’d be a good fit for Town Close. After hearing more about the team and the direction things were heading, I knew it was the right opportunity.
2. Can you describe your role and the primary responsibilities you handle?
I look after the operations and client service side of things - making sure processes run smoothly, clients are supported and the team has what they need to do their jobs well. I also enjoy digging into the details and finding ways to make things more efficient.
3. What’s a typical day like for you?
My day usually starts with checking priorities and emails, before diving into a mix of client queries, project work and keeping workflows on track. By the time I finish up, I like knowing the day has been productive and organised.
4. What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Seeing the difference I can make for both clients and the team - whether that’s solving a tricky problem, streamlining something that saves everyone time or simply being someone people can rely on.
5. What do you appreciate most about working with your current team?
The support and camaraderie. Everyone’s approachable, hardworking and genuinely cares about doing a good job. It makes coming to work something I truly look forward to.
6. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I’d love to be a time traveller - so I could visit different historic events and, most importantly, spend time again with loved ones I’ve lost.
7. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“Keep moving forward, even if it’s not perfect.” It helps me focus on progress instead of overthinking every detail.
8. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chicken soup - it’s wholesome, comforting, and nothing beats my mum’s recipe.
9. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Australia and New Zealand - to visit friends who have relocated there and enjoy an adventure at the same time.
10. If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you want to have with you?
I’ll assume I’m stranded with my partner, Bjorn - in that case, I’d bring a flint for fire, a spear gun for fishing and a couple of good cases of champagne to enjoy romantic fish and lobster dinners together.
